SDK’s Stay ‘n Train is one of the professional training programs offered through SDK. Your dog stays with us for the duration of training. Our trainers work with them Mon-Fri 2-3 sessions per day. This program is a four-week commitment, additional time may be needed based on personal goals.

This program is designed to teach each dog the skills to be a great all-around companion. Your dog has to be around 6-8 months to enroll. Beginning early is ideal but it’s never too late to start.  Prior to acceptance into this program, owner and prospective dog will need to schedule a consultation with one of our experienced trainers to develop a training plan and goals to make sure the program will be a good fit. During this time, you will tour the facility, and your dog will be evaluated for the program. You will learn what is expected in the program: communication, progress reports, what to bring, visitations, grooming and vetting. A tentative “go-home” session will be set up. The go-home focuses on training the owner.
